My fiance and I are looking for some outdoor settings for our engagement photos. Does anyone know of some great outdoor places. Maybe something with water. Thanks!

IMO the best place in Dallas is the Dallas Arboretum. They are listed in Weddingwishes.com. They are near White Rock Lake and they also have a pond at the Arboretum. They also have lots of areas to take photos.

Look for an upcoming article in Wedding Wishes and on Weddingwishes.com about Dallas Fort Worth's photographers favorites photography locations. A little preview...The Dallas Arboretum tops the list.

The Dallas Arboretum is a great spot. Before heading out there though they do have some rules. The following comes from their website.
Photography - Non-Commercial
- For general consideration and safety of our visitors, and in compliance with City Codes, the public is not permitted to change clothes in our public restrooms.
- Brides must come dressed for photographs. If a bride needs a place to change clothes, she can rent the VIP room in advance by calling 214-515-6511. Room is only available to rent on weekdays.
- Individual bridal or personal photography is permitted during normal operating hours with regular admission to the gardens.
- Please follow all garden etiquette guides when taking photographs.
