My fiance and I are considering having a brunch the morning after our wedding. Our wedding is on Saturday night. We have invited a lot of family and friends from out of town and we want to spend some time with them. We would leave for our honeymoon on Monday morning. Has anybody done this and how has it worked out? I'm a little concerned that if we don't leave for our honeymoon Sunday that it will be anti-climatic, but on the other hand we will be more rested. Any comments?

I think that it's a very nice idea to have a brunch. We just got engaged, but my mother wants us to have a lunch for all of our relatives the day after the wedding. Both of us have huge families and they will be traveling a long distance to get here and some of them I haven't seen in a long time, so it will be nice to catch up with them. Even though it puts off the honeymoon by a day I think that we will do it.
