I just got engaged. Yeah! I am trying to think of what colors I want for the wedding. The wedding is planned right now for the fall of 2009. Can you tell me what the colors are for your wedding? I need ideas!

Paint Samples! You can go to a store with a paint department and look at their paint samples. Stores with paint departments include Home Depot, Lowes, Wal-Mart (not all), and Sherwin-Williams. Other hardware stores may have a paint department too. You can find hundreds of color combinations. You will find everything from traditional to contemporary color schemes that coordinate. Or you can use the paint samples to come up with your own color scheme. You can go to Sherwin-Williams site (www.sherwin.com/do_it_yourself/paint_colors/index.jsp) and use their "Color Your World" feature on-line. They have hundreds of colors from which to choose and when you pick a color they show you the coordinating palette. You can even save your favorite colors and email them. GL!

My bm will be wearing cranberry colored dresses with mixed orange bouquets. My bouquet will be white ranunculuses.
I do like the idea of the paint samples.

My main colors are brown, gold and ivory. My bridesmaid dresses will be strapless brown satin dresses with a sash at the waist.

My current thinking is aqua blue, classic grey and gold. But I am not sure. I have a lot of time so i do don't want to rush into choosing my colors. I really like all the browns and they are so in now. What do you'all think about this color combo?
