I am thinking about going with silk wedding flowers for my wedding. I have found a designer who makes gorgeous silk bouquets and you really can't tell that they are silk.Has anybody else gone this route and what has been your experience?

I am going with silk flowers too. I think that it's great. One of my bm has allergies pretty bad so I looked into the silk flower thing and I was impressed with the quality. It's also a little bit cheaper than real flowers.

I too have decided to go with silk flowers. My mother is not real thrilled about it, but the flowers aren't the most important thing to me so I did not want to spend a ton of money on them. The silks today are amazing and I am able to design my bouquet and my BM bouquets without having to worry about what is in season. Plus, I can keep the bouquet and pass it down to my daughter if she wants it.

Keeping the silk bouquet is a great idea, but I did want to tell you that you can get the live flowers preserved and framed.
