I am a fall wedding and am trying to decide on the color of the bridesmaid dresses. I have seen a lot of brown which I think is very elegant, but I don't really know if I want to go that route. Does anyone have some ideas.

Have you considered burnt orange? That is a great fall color, but you need to take into consideration the complexions of your BM. Some wouldn't look so great in burnt orange. Have you picked out their bouquets yet?

I have not picked out the bouquets yet. I was waiting until I picked the actual dresses. I am having a MOH and 3 bridesmaid and I think all 4 of them would look good in burnt orange.

If you go to David's Bridal www.davidsbridal.com/bridesmaids_return_by_color.jsp?cfid=37
you can get some ideas for the burnt orange (they call it Persimmon). It's a very elegant color, but I think that brown with a light blue sash would look very nice too.

Go with the color you like best regardless of the season-whether its blue, brown, burnt orange, red or black. Pick out the color that makes you ooh! It sounds like you aren't real crazy about brown, but feel compelled to use it because it's in the fall.

If you're going with brown I like it with a light blue or tan sash. Very elegant and it gives you tons of choices for the bridesmaid bouquets.
