| Tales From the Kitchen is a personalized cookbook service. Clients send to me their 'collection' of recipes and family photos. I create a legacy! My passion for my work came about years ago, traveling and 'collecting' recipes and menus worldwide. These are well- organized, clean and elegant books. Each is unique, as is each family! Most people have neither the time nor the inclination to undertake such a daunting task . . . I step in and take over the mayhem! Various sizes are offered, with or without photos. I take care of the layout and cropping of 'old and soiled' original recipes, re-typing them next to the original scan. Feel free to also include notations with any particular recipes. These will appear below said recipe. Clear fonts and uncluttered layout is furnished, along with a shiny, laminated cover. YOU select the front 'representative' photo and title! I've received orders that are very well organized, as well as 'shoe boxes' stuffed to overflowing with scraps of paper! Either way is fine. This is what I do, and I am passionate about it all, from start to finish. There is a definite 'generational/family' value to my product. In my mind, it way exceeds the expenditure. Relieve yourself of this project today and be in touch about this service that I offer! I can easily meet you locally and provide you with 'sample' work, or speak with you via phone, to go over all the details. These are not categorized as a 'mass-produced' multi-copy product; they are custom made per order and as such are considered a gift of the year! Any event can prove worthy of such a gift. Graduation, moving out of the home, marriage, Mother's Day, Christmas, birthday, etc. OR just to keep your beloved recipes together in one volume. A family heirloom . . . to be cherished for years to come. A minimum of two books per order is required, due to the labor involved. Feel free to inquire about pricing and various sizes available. Start organizing your favorites today! |

I cannot wait to tell you that the cookbooks were a very big hit . . . thanks!! We had a lot of tears and to quote Rob, a junior at Harvard, It has everything I like!! My girls and I just went through it recipe by recipe and they told their story of each. I am glad we went with this format- the easel-type- and everyone loves the cover, back and front. Merry Christmas!

Loved the cookbooks. I think they turned out wonderful! What happens when family want to order more copies? Should they wait until we need more than 1? Cannot wait for everyone to see these. Thanks!

Hi Debby: Oh my goodness, what beautiful cookbooks!!!!!!! I ran to the front door when I saw that there was a box that had been delivered. I quickly opened the box and sat down to look at the magnificent cookbook. I could not wait to give my sister her copy. She cried and laughed along with me as we went through the pages of the book. I made her promise me not to tell her girls. I want it to be a surprise when I see them next weekend for a family reunion. I will give my girls theirs tomorrow.
Many thanks for all your hard work. If I need anything in the future, I will not hesitate to contact you.

Debby: I have been meaning to call or write a note or something!!! My mom loved her cookbook. She cried and I cried when she opened it. She said it was the nicest thing anyone has ever done for her. I wish you could see the videotape of it. My husband videoed her receiving it. My dad was wondering how much it would be to get another copy for my brothers wife? I can honestly say that it was the best gift I have ever given, because as my mom said, It was the story of her life with all of the photographs I put in it. Her 70th birthday is next month and I cannot think of a gift that can beat my Christmas gift!!!!
Thanks soooooooo much, Debby. You really have a gift making these!!!

I came right home and started through Mamas old White Spiral that she kept. I pulled out everything I thought I might be interested in. Of course, there is too much, but I knew I would never fined a special one again, if I didn not pull it out.
Sister is going to look out in the Country this weekend. Mine is such a mish-mash that I do nott know how you will sift through it all, but I do have them out.
I would like Daddys Egg Nog in his handwriting. I think that was Daddys only claim to fame. So let me know where we go from here. I have mine all stacked in a box. I am excited. So glad you asked if I wanted to see what you did. You made the Bazaar worthwhile for me.

I have so much fun just looking at and rereading my book. My girls report the same! Something about the cover just invites one to pick up and read! I LOVE IT JUST AS MUCH TODAY AS I DID THE FIRST TIME I LOOKED AT IT. YOU ARE MY WONDERFUL FRIEND! John says I go into a trance when I sit down with the book. I savor all the food and memories over and over again. The book was way more interesting than the ISU/Ohio game!

Hi Debby: A reporter came out to my house this morning to do a story on my cookbook and when I showed her the book, she gasped at how beautiful and what a professional job you did on this book! I agreed, of course. She made my picture with the book in hand for the paper, which will come out in November for the Christmas Recipes section. She really loves your work and lots of compliments on this book. All deserved
