| Castle Douglas is a full-service wedding venue and a personalized wedding planning business dedicated to making every wedding ceremony a spectacular success. We provide comprehensive wedding planning services months before the event and unparalleled service on the day of the event. We offer a variety of pricing options. For the ceremony, the Great Hall accommodates up to 250 people. We can accommodate up to 600 for receptions. Our grounds include the Great Hall, ballroom, pub, armory, library, and weather permitting, the terrace overlooking the rose garden. We also offer packages for smaller, intimate ceremonies and receptions for 50-100 guests. John and Charlotte, the owners of this castle, honeymooned in England, staying at castles and manor houses, and thus, began their dream to build their own castle for special events.
