He has conducted over a thousand wedding ceremonies while serving as a Pastor and was Chaplain for The Stockyards Wedding Chapel in Fort Worth's famous National Historical District. Gordon married my wife (Maryann) and me on March 20, 2009 in Fort Worth, Texas at the Fort Worth Stockyards, Cowboy Church. Gordon was recommended to me by the regular preacher for that Cowboy Church. We met Gordon at the church the day of our wedding just before the our wedding.
At the time, when we were married I was not living in God's will and Maryann was not a saved Christian. Later that year I realized that my wife was lost and without a savior so I prayed and asked God for His guidance, wisdom, direction and intervention to bring Maryann to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
We found a church and began going to this church and later made this church our church home. Through many prayers from our church family members and myself, God answered my prayers. On December 15, 2009, Maryann, one night while at home, cried out to God and asked God into her heart to be the Lord of her life!
