An ordained Christian Minister, with seminary training, his ministry has spanned more than four decades. He has conducted over a thousand wedding ceremonies while serving as a Pastor and was Chaplain for The Stockyards Wedding Chapel in Fort Worth's famous National Historical District. Lora Lea Nelson, Gordon's wife, also performs weddings.

The Wedding Preacher offers a choice of traditional, contemporary or authentic western, non-denominational vows and ceremonies. Each is personalized for the bride and groom and appropriately tailored to the audience and setting. Ceremonies with compassion, dignity and flair.
