| Castle Douglas is a full-service wedding venue and wedding planning business dedicated to making every wedding ceremony, reception or rehearsal dinner or bridal shower a spectacular success. We are dedicated to making each bride's day perfect and provide comprehensive planning services months before the event and unparalleled service on the day of the event. We offer a variety of pricing options. We can accommodate up to 600 for receptions. Our grounds include the Great Hall, ballroom, pub, armory, library, and weather permitting, the terrace overlooking the rose garden. We also offer packages for smaller, intimate ceremonies and receptions for 50-100 guests. Please book early as premier weekend dates typically book nine months to one year in advance. John and Charlotte, the owners of this castle, honeymooned in England, staying at castles and manor houses, and thus, began their dream to build their own castle for special events.
